PSA (and business ideas!)

Here with a PSA & two million-dollar start up ideas, you’re welcome.

Had a flurry of old person tests over the last week and they were fun. But both could be (and might have already been) lifesaving. So get your breast mammograms/MRIs and colonoscopies. They were basically cozy naps with some sharting, so nothing new.

Now for the business opportunities:

If we can have an driverless car take me to the hospital, all you techies can definitely find a way to tackle these low hanging fruit:

1) music in the MRI- amazing! My first song – Knocking on Heavens Door-yikes!
Please someone just spend one hour writing an algorithm for songs to play/avoid in hospitals. I know you are trying to keep us health/trauma psychologists in business, but we’re good thanks.

2) colonoscopy drinking meds- amazing! Tastes like antifreeze-yikes!
Look, when I did my gestational diabetes test I slurped that stuff down with no complaint (no
surprise I had like the worst case of GD ever, twice!). But this colonoscopy poison is an actual barrier to care. I’m positive some people are avoiding this test because of this part of the prep. Which one of our local scientists can make an oreo that makes me poop all day? It doesn’t even sound that hard.

That is all. Happiest of holidays.
